Though most travel has been grounded, and borders between the US and Brazil have been closed, God is still at work calling people to the Great Commission. The Lord Jesus said in Luke 11:28, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." Joe Rozell has heard the word of the Lord and is obeying His command to "go". He is scheduled to depart for Manuas on July 31, just two days after the travel ban between the US and Brazil is set to expire. Joe will be going alone, but we all know that he is not alone for the Lord also said, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matt 28:20). Throughout Scripture God has demonstrated that large numbers are not needed for Him to accomplish His work. In Judges 7 God told Gideon to send some of his men home or else "Israel would boast against me". In Joshua 10 God stopped the sun in the sky for one man who was obedient, "The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being" (vs 13,14). I ask that you be in prayer for Joe and Pastor Eli as they will be traveling by canoe to minister to the villages.
